About Home by the Hedgerow

Hello, I’m Jules Parker – photographer, designer, crafter, and the heart behind Home by the Hedgerow.

Nestled in the enchanting county of Cornwall, I’m endlessly inspired by wild coastlines, rolling hills, and the storybook villages that surround me. It’s here, in this peaceful corner of the world, that my love for nature, vintage charm, and handcrafted living has truly come to life.

With a background in Interior Design from The National Design Academy, I dreamed of creating a space where all my passions could meet – and so Home by the Hedgerow was born.

My photography is rooted in quiet storytelling – capturing fleeting countryside moments, from rustling hedgerows to winding woodland paths. You’ll find a growing collection of nature-inspired prints, fine art photographs, and greeting cards – each one evoking the simple beauty of rural life.

Alongside my photography, I curate a handpicked selection of vintage finds and lovingly handmade creations for the home. From natural beeswax candles and seasonal wreaths to soy wax melts, wax-dipped pinecones, and hand-gathered woodland treasures – every item is crafted with care here in my Cornish cottage, using natural and locally sourced materials wherever possible.

Everything I make is guided by the rhythm of the seasons and a deep reverence for the land and its wildlife. Home by the Hedgerow is for kindred spirits who delight in slow living – who cherish handmade comforts, nature-led design, and a touch of countryside magic.
